The story of DIVIN begins in 2018, at the heart of the Villebois vineyards. Driven by the desire to push the limits of traditional wine, the brand embarks on a bold adventure: to reinvent the Sauvignon Blanc experience… without alcohol. This grape, the emblem of the Loire Valley, becomes the starting point of an innovative project that combines creativity, winemaking expertise and cutting-edge technology.
The first creation, a Wine Seltzer based on Loire wine, marks the start of a new era. With just 69 calories, no additives and 4.8% alcohol, this modern drink meets with wide success and confirms the initial intuition: the world of wine can transform without losing its soul.

The birth of DIVIN's dealcoholized wines

Building on this first success, from 2020 DIVIN takes on a more ambitious challenge: to create the first 0.0% dealcoholized Sauvignon Blanc produced in the Loire. The project takes months of research, the exploration of artisanal techniques, the study of international dealcoholization methods and, above all, a constant determination to reach a perfect balance between aromatic authenticity and finesse.
This work pays off. The range then expands to Chenin Blanc, Rosé and Pinot Noir Red, opening up new possibilities and proving that wine can exist in another form while staying true to the terroir that gave birth to it.
In 2022, DIVIN takes a new step with Le Vigneron, the first dealcoholized terroir Sauvignon Blanc of the Loire. Crafted with œnologist Alessandro Bariè, it expresses the richness of the region while offering an alcohol-free alternative of great precision.

A unique know-how in the Loire

DIVIN masters the entire chain, from the vineyard to dealcoholization. The estate farms 100 hectares in Touraine, near the châteaux of Chenonceau and Chambord. The Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir plots enjoy a mild climate, diverse soils and an ideal exposure to develop rich aromatics, perfect for LOW/NO wines.
A viticulture designed for alcohol-free wines
To reveal the purity of the aromas:
• the plots are carefully selected by the vineyard manager,
• the foliage is adjusted to obtain grapes naturally lower in alcohol,
• ripeness is monitored to preserve tension, freshness and aromatic complexity.
These choices make it possible to craft clean, expressive wines perfectly suited to the dealcoholization process.

Trained at the University of Milan, Alessandro Bariè brings a vision that is both scientific and creative. An entrepreneur at heart, he tirelessly explores the methods that preserve the authenticity of the wine while removing the alcohol.
