A Terrasses du Larzac estate, between the Larzac and the Mediterranean
The vines are in the Herault, near the village of Saint-Guilhem-le-Desert, over the communes of Saint-Saturnin-de-Lucian, Arboras, Saint-Guiraud, Ceyras and Saint-Andre-de-Sangonis, all belonging to the Terrasses du Larzac appellation. The vineyard is composed of old parcels of Carignan, Cinsault, Grenache noir, Grenache blanc and Chenin, and younger parcels of Mourvedre, Syrah and Vermentino. The farming of the vines is guided by the pursuit of a limited yield and minimal intervention on the soil, with respect for living things.
Respecting the integrity of the grape, revealing the terroir
The vinification aims to respect the integrity of the grape, to express its fruity side, to extract the most melted tannic structure possible and to produce wines of imposing volume and fine length on the palate. Here, the exactingness acquired in Champagne serves the Languedoc terroir.
