Château Tour Rouge: A Bordeaux Vineyard Rooted in Authenticity, Passion, and Organic Farming

Nestled on the heights of La Roquille, at the crossroads of Gironde, Lot-et-Garonne, and Dordogne, Château Tour Rouge thrives in the heart of the Bordeaux wine region. This discreet estate, revived in 1999 by Didier Neyrac, reflects a heartfelt return to the land, driven by passion and precision.

The heir to three generations of winemakers and distillers, Didier chose to breathe new life into the vineyard, undertaking a complete restructuring with one clear goal: to produce characterful red wines that are sincere, expressive, and deeply rooted in their terroir.

Craft Winemaking Between Tradition and Modernity

For over two decades, Château Tour Rouge has pursued a quality-driven approach where every detail matters. The estate cultivates the region’s iconic grape varieties — Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc — with great care and respect for the natural rhythm of the seasons.

The winemaking process emphasizes purity of fruit, with a measured use of oak aging to allow the grape’s natural aromas to shine through. Each cuvée is crafted as a subtle balance of authenticity, elegance, and structure, always faithful to the identity of its terroir.

Certified Organic for a Sustainable Future

In 2023, the estate was officially certified in Organic Farming, marking a key milestone in its evolution. This commitment reflects a philosophy that respects the soil, the vine, and biodiversity, with the clear intention to protect the environment and craft living, healthy, and expressive wines.

A Vibrant Estate Built on Sharing

Awarded a Gold Medal at the 2025 Bordeaux Wine Competition, Château Tour Rouge continues to demonstrate the consistency and integrity of its work. As a small-scale, family-run estate, each plot and each vintage is nurtured with artisanal care.

Didier Neyrac envisions the estate as a place of community, exchange, and culture, with plans to host convivial events in the near future. Because beyond the bottles, it’s the shared emotions around wine that truly matter.

“What moves me the most? The sparkle in someone’s eyes after a single sip,” he says.
