A few kilometres north of Bordeaux, in Saint-Andre-de-Cubzac, Chateau Saincrit embodies a new generation of Bordeaux wines: committed, precise and deeply rooted in their terroir.
Since 2003, Florence Prud'homme, an independent winegrower, has developed the estate with conviction. Starting from 4.5 hectares, she now farms nearly 23 hectares with a clear guiding line: to produce sincere, modern and responsible Bordeaux wines. A clay-limestone terroir ideal for the great Bordeaux grapes
The vineyard rests on clay-limestone and sandy soils, perfectly suited to the emblematic grapes of Bordeaux:
Merlot and Cabernet Franc, for roundness, fruit and finesse.
Cabernet Sauvignon and Semillon, for the structure of the reds and the expression of the whites.
These terroirs allow the crafting of Bordeaux Rouge, Bordeaux Superieur, organic Bordeaux Blanc and Bordeaux Rose. The Chateau Saincrit signature: balance, freshness and clean fruit. No over-extraction, no artifice: the vintage speaks, the terroir expresses itself.
An organic conversion built over time
The environmental commitment of Chateau Saincrit is progressive and structured:
From 2015, an engaged environmental approach.
In 2017, the HVE level 3 certification (High Environmental Value).
In 2023, the Organic Farming certification.
The first organic white wines are already available. The organic reds, currently ageing, are coming soon. The estate is also part of an Environmental Management System aiming to sustainably reduce its impact: fewer inputs, reduction of diffuse pollution, photovoltaic projects and continuous improvement of cultural practices.
This momentum was praised by Terre de Vins with a selection for the Trophee Bordeaux Vignoble Engage, in the Nature and Respect category.

The Bordeaux vineyard is changing: earlier harvests, faster ripeness, transformed aromatic profiles. The Chateau Saincrit response: to adapt without distorting.
In line with the work carried out with INRA and ISVV at the regional scale, the estate bets on resilience: balance of ripeness, fine management of extraction, preserved freshness. The goal remains clear: to preserve the identity of an elegant and structured Bordeaux Superieur, even in a changing climate.
