Château Paradis
An 80-hectare estate in the northern part of the Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence, in Le Puy-Sainte-Réparade. Run by the Thieblin family since 2011, HVE certified, between the Sainte-Victoire and the Luberon. Located in the heart of a preserved natural landscape, Château Paradis extends over 80 hectares of vines in the northern part of the Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence appellation, in the commune of Le Puy-Sainte-Réparade. This estate is renowned for its historical richness and the remarkable quality of its wines from a unique terroir, between the Sainte-Victoire and the Luberon.
A family history and a sustainable vision
Since 2011, the Thieblin family (Xavier and Odile Thieblin), originally from Provence, has been at the head of the estate. By integrating fifty additional hectares, they have put in place an ambitious strategy aimed at producing authentic wines that perfectly reflect the personality of their terroir. Their approach favours sustainability, with a strong commitment to sustainable (raisonnee) viticulture.
A terroir rich in history
The first vines planted on the lands of Château Paradis date back to around 600 BC, with the arrival of the Phocaeans in Marseille. Later, the Romans developed the Villa Regina and installed a wine press on the estate, of which remains are still visible today. The estate was officially born in 1980 thanks to Jacques Héon, a wine lover, who introduced the Sauvignon blanc and Grenache blanc grapes. In 2003, it was taken over by Philippe and Juliette Deschamps, who renovated the bastide and built a cellar to turn the estate into a grower-producer, marking a decisive turning point.

A soil and climate favourable to exceptional wines
The vines of Château Paradis grow on clay-limestone, sandy and stony soils, sometimes shallow, with outcropping limestone rock. The influence of the Mistral and the alpine freshness brought by the Durance offer a dry, sunny climate, perfect for producing fresh, fruity and mineral rose and white wines, as well as structured, elegant reds. The Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence appellation covers more than 4,100 hectares, from the Durance to the Mediterranean, with nearly 2,900 hours of sunshine per year.
Winemaking expertise at the service of the terroir
Château Paradis benefits from expert guidance led by Jeremie Peckre, director of the estate, supported by the renowned oenologists Michel Tardieu and Philippe Cambie. The estate practises sustainable (raisonnee) agriculture, limiting treatments to the strict minimum; this approach made it possible to obtain in 2019 the High Environmental Value (HVE) certification, attesting to its efforts for biodiversity and soil protection. The team harvests the grapes at full ripeness to reveal all the richness of the varieties.
