Located in Tauriac, in the Cotes de Bourg appellation, Chateau Nodoz embodies the accessible elegance of the Bordeaux vineyard. Since 2002, Sandrine and Jean-Francois Magdeleine-Cenac, former passionate lawyers, have taken over this family property with the ambition of producing authentic wines, both generous and easy to share.
The estate, rooted in history since before the French Revolution, now extends over 38 hectares spread across the communes of Tauriac, Lansac and Bourg-sur-Gironde. Cultivated according to the principles of sustainable farming, the vines benefit from a fine exposure on gravel slopes facing East/South-East and South-West, ensuring optimal sunshine.

A family heritage restored with passion
The Cru de Nodoz owes its initial renown to Mr Bordes, a Bordeaux shipowner, who developed it before the Magdeleine family took over its management in 1930. In the 1980s, Jean-Louis and Josiane Magdeleine restored the vineyard left by the grandfather. Sandrine and Jean-Francois, the next generation, gave the estate new impetus in the early 2000s, blending respect for tradition and a contemporary vision.

The Nodoz new-barrel cuvee, a refined ageing wine, reveals a complex aromatic palette, while the Galau cuvee is more convivial, perfect to accompany meals with friends or family.
To celebrate the fine weather, new cuvees highlight the diversity of the estate's expertise: a Merlot rose, a 100% Sauvignon Blanc white and a Prestige white aged in barrels.
