Château Le Noble: the soul of a great Bordeaux terroir

In the heart of the Entre-Deux-Mers, between the blond stones of Bordeaux and the slopes of Saint-Émilion, Château Le Noble stretches its vines over the hills of Saint-Germain-du-Puch. Since 1820, the same family has cared for around thirty sun-drenched hectares, facing south, on clay-limestone soils dotted with gravelly rises. In other words, a dream setting for the great Bordeaux grape varieties.

On this authentic land, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon thrive for the reds, while Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle shape whites that are vibrant and full of energy.

A committed family and truly organic viticulture

At the head of the estate, Thomas and Maria-Mercedes Bonnefon represent the fifth generation. Their vision is clear: protect the environment, honour traditional know-how and craft wines that remain deeply true to their terroir.

The vineyard has been farmed organically since 2013. The soils are worked naturally, ploughing is light, natural grass cover is carefully managed and systemic treatments are completely excluded. The vines, on average 35 years old, yield concentrated grapes that the family vinifies with gentleness and patience.

Fermentations are long, precise and respectful of the fruit. This constant care has shaped the estate’s style: round, elegant, structured wines, always balanced, able to tell the story of the land they come from.

A story shaped by five generations

Château Le Noble is not just a vineyard. It is a legacy passed from hand to hand since the early 19th century. Each generation has added its own stone: high standards, mastery of every gesture, and openness to innovation.

Thomas Bonnefon, a graduate of the Bordeaux-Blanquefort school of viticulture and oenology, who also trained at Château Rauzan-Ségla (Margaux), follows this path. With his wife and their three children, he has brought new life to the estate, restored the buildings and elevated Château Le Noble to a benchmark in organic Bordeaux wines.

Organic and vegan wines: pure terroir expression

The estate produces a range of wines and spirits that proudly embody the identity of the Aquitaine terroir. Every cuvée combines the rigour of traditional methods, the expertise of five generations and a modern approach to winemaking. The result: sincere, precise, characterful wines that appeal to both wine lovers and connoisseurs.

Cuvée Radicale Red 2022 – Organic Bordeaux, no added sulphites: A 100% Merlot crafted in its purest form. Fully organic, vegan and with no added sulphites. A luscious red with notes of dark fruit, silky and supple, perfect as an aperitif or with grilled poultry.

Cuvée Héritage Red – Bordeaux Supérieur: A generous, full-bodied wine driven by red fruit. The Merlot–Cabernet Franc–Cabernet Sauvignon trio reveals an elegant structure and an ageing potential of 8 to 10 years. An ideal companion for grilled meats, vegetable pasta dishes and mild cheeses.

Château Le Noble Red – Bordeaux AOC: A mature, powerful vintage, conceived as an appealing alternative to the great classified growths. Barrel-aged, well-structured and intense: the wine for your special occasions.

Cuvée Héritage Red  – Bordeaux Supérieur : An expressive, well-balanced red with hints of spice and wild berries. Silky, deep and ready to drink. Superb with roasted poultry or a fine cut of lamb.

White Cuvée Héritage – Organic Bordeaux: A lively, delicate and harmonious white. Pear, lemon and exotic notes deliver perfectly controlled freshness. Irresistible with seafood, shellfish or delicate fish dishes.

Sweet White Cuvée Héritage 2023 – Organic, Vegan Bordeaux: A sweet white wine from late-harvested grapes. Candied fruit, honey and a beautifully balanced sweetness. Sublime with foie gras, sweet-and-sour Asian cuisine or fruit-based desserts.

Rosé Cuvée Héritage – Organic Bordeaux: A 100% Cabernet Franc rosé with fruity accents, generous and precise. The ideal rosé for light meals and summer evenings.

Spirits: boldness as a natural extension of wine

INIMA GIN ABLE: A premium artisanal gin, distilled from the estate’s red wines in a copper still. Aromatic, powerful, imaginative: a gin designed for creative cocktails.

VOD K: A characterful vodka, distilled in very small batches from wine. Silky texture, controlled intensity. To be enjoyed as a shot or in cocktails.
