The estate carries a discreet but deeply rooted history. Originally, it was called Château Lacares, after the stream that winds behind the cellar and gathers the waters of the hillsides. In the 1980s, to gain commercial clarity, the family renamed the property Château Lafleur-Beausejour, a name more evocative of finesse and terroir. Today, to honour this memory and highlight the identity of the wines, a cuvee is reborn under its original name: Château Lacares. Two names, one single family soul.
