Located in Cénac, Château du Garde is a family-owned wine estate whose story has been unfolding since 1925. For nearly a century, the property has been passed down from generation to generation, guided by the same ambition: to produce quality wines that are faithful to their terroir and respectful of nature.

Today, Jean-Benoît Subra, representing the fourth generation of winegrowers, oversees the estate. Under his leadership, the vineyard has continued to evolve while maintaining a human scale and a strong identity.

The estate covers 30 hectares of vineyards, spread across the Côtes de Bordeaux and Bordeaux appellations, offering a rich diversity of soils and expressions.

Fully aware of the importance of preserving its environment, Château du Garde is committed to sustainable viticulture, certified by HVE – High Environmental Value Level 3.

Thanks to its know-how and favourable terroir, Château du Garde produces a complete range of Bordeaux wines that are refined, balanced and expressive. Vinification and ageing are carried out with care to reveal the unique personality of each cuvée.

Dry White: A fresh and aromatic wine with fruity notes, partially aged in oak barrels to add richness and complexity while preserving vibrant freshness.

Clairet: An emblematic Bordeaux style, the estate’s clairet stands out for its freshness, character and generosity. A convivial wine, perfect for warm-weather occasions.

Red Wines: The red wines of Château du Garde are characterised by roundness, suppleness and aromatic depth, the result of carefully controlled ageing.
