Château des Rêves: Saint-Émilion Grand Cru - Saint-Sulpice-de-Faleyrens, Bordeaux

In the shadow of Saint-Émilion's bell tower, surrounded by legendary properties such as Château Ausone, Château Pavie and Château Angélus, Château des Rêves stands out as a confidential estate of exceptional potential.

This single-block vineyard of 4.5 hectares carries the AOP Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation on the commune of Saint-Sulpice-de-Faleyrens. In 2021, Fabrice Desrez took over the property with a clear ambition: to produce a precise, elegant and sustainable Grand Cru capable of competing with the benchmarks of the sector.

A rare terroir of gravel and clay, the hallmark of great Bordeaux wines

The soil of Château des Rêves rests on a silty-clay-gravelly terrace, formed by ancient alluvial deposits from the Dordogne. Combined with a temperate oceanic climate, it allows slow and even ripening of the grapes. The result: structured, deep wines of great aromatic finesse.
