At the heart of Boutenac, an emblematic terroir of the Corbières appellation, Château de Saint-Louis embodies the power and singularity of the great wines of the Languedoc. The estate spans 120 hectares of vines, grown with rigour and common sense, in a reasoned viticulture carried out for more than three decades. Here, each wine tells an ancient story: the Boutenac vineyard has been recognised since Antiquity, when the Roman legions already worked this exceptional terroir for the quality of its wines.
The Boutenac terroir stands out for a great diversity of soils, a generous Mediterranean climate and the constant influence of the sea winds, which cleanse the vine and concentrate the aromas. Yields are deliberately controlled, the harvest carried out at full ripeness, and the blends crafted with care to offer wines that are at once expressive, balanced and deep.
