Château de Beaumel – Between Provençal Heritage and a Vision for the Future

A Vineyard Rooted in the Nature of Var. Nestled in the heart of the Var, near the Plaine des Maures, Château de Beaumel perfectly combines tradition and modernity. Since 2015, the Caille family has breathed new life into this historic estate, guided by a passion for nature and respect for the land. Alongside oenologist Nicolas Turounet, each harvest becomes a celebration of soil, climate, and time.

Certified organic since 2021, the estate embraces a sustainable philosophy of winemaking where nature leads every gesture. The result: sincere, elegant, and expressive wines born from a living, protected ecosystem.

An Exceptional Terroir Dedicated to Taste

The 30-hectare vineyard lies on sandy, clay, and rocky soils that enhance the aromatic richness of Provençal grape varieties. The 17th-century bastide, the historical heart of the estate, watches over 25-year-old vines — witnesses of a heritage deeply rooted in Mediterranean wine culture.

Under the mistral’s breath and the warmth of the sun, the grapes achieve perfect ripeness, giving birth to wines that are balanced, intense, and radiant.

The Soul of the Château: Nature, Passion, and Craftsmanship

Château de Beaumel embodies a clear philosophy: to produce authentic wines true to the land that nurtures them. Biodiversity reigns supreme here. Donkeys, hens, and even a peacock roam freely, while the Hermann’s tortoise — an emblematic local species — finds refuge among the vines.

With solar-powered energy autonomy, the estate unites traditional viticulture and ecological innovation. Each cuvée becomes a tribute to nature — a perfect harmony of precision and emotion.

Organic Wines Combining Authenticity and Boldness

Within the AOP Côtes de Provence appellation, Château de Beaumel’s wines stand out for their purity and depth. The estate cultivates nine emblematic grape varieties: Tibouren, Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Rolle, Merlot, Sauvignon, and Caladoc. The rare and characterful Tibouren grape, proudly reintroduced, brings finesse and distinction to the blends.

Each wine reflects the singularity of the terroir and the Caille family’s philosophy: preserve freshness, enhance fruit, and reveal the light of Provence.

Signature Cuvées Reflecting the Estate’s Identity

The Or, Grain, and Cascade cuvées capture the essence of Château de Beaumel — authenticity, elegance, and generosity.

  • Cuvée Or – Generosity and character.
  • Cuvée Grain – The freshness of shared moments.
  • Cuvée Cascade – The liveliness of Provence under the sun.
  • Cuvée Prestige – The expression of convivial French art de vivre.
  • Cuvée Diamant – The brilliance of life’s precious moments.
  • Grande Réserve – The signature of time and patience.

Each bottle tells a story — of a place where nature guides human hands and each vintage carries the memory of its terroir.

Preserve, Protect, and Pass On

Château de Beaumel does more than produce wine: it shapes a sustainable future. Organic farming, mindful soil management, and respect for time are at the heart of every decision. Here, the vine is not forced — it is listened to. The estate cultivates a living bond between the earth, the fruit, and human emotion.
