A winegrowing gem at the heart of the Graves. Nestled on the slopes of the Caillivet hill, the estate overlooks the majestic Garonne valley and the vast Landes forest. Its name comes from the Gascon calhau, meaning pebble, a nod to the mineral richness of its soils.
The vines flourish on gravelly rises and clay-limestone slopes, offering a diversity of terroirs ideal for producing Graves wines with an assertive character and a natural elegance.

A new generation committed to the land
Since August 2020, Chateau Caillivet has been writing a new chapter under the impetus of Guilain Latournerie, a young and passionate agronomist. His vision: to make the estate a model of agroecology and sustainable viticulture.
In conversion to organic farming, the vineyard is part of a virtuous pastoral ecosystem, where biodiversity, living soils and respect for the living guide every decision. This ecological approach gives birth to sincere wines, faithful to their terroir and to the spirit of the place.
