The story of a passionate couple in the heart of the Vallee de la Marne. Located in Festigny, Domaine Planson is a true love story between a man, a woman and their Champagne terroir. In 1984, at just 23 years old, Gilles Planson decided to bring his dream to life: to create his own champagne. He bought a ruined farm in Neuville, his family's land, which he patiently transformed into a wine estate full of soul and character.
A couple, a terroir, a shared passion
Alongside Nathalie, his wife, Gilles now farms 3 hectares of vines cultivated using sustainable (raisonnee) viticulture, in a committed approach towards sustainable winegrowing. Together, they have brought this corner of Champagne back to life, infusing it with their passion, their savoir-faire and a sincere approach to wine. Here, nothing is standardised: the wines are the reflection of the patient work of two artisans, attached to transparency and the purity of tastes.

An exceptional terroir and three emblematic grapes
The vineyard of Domaine Planson is home to the three Champagne grapes: Meunier, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Meunier, the signature grape of the Vallee de la Marne, holds a central place: its generous fruit, roundness and freshness bring balance and gourmandise to the estate's cuvees. Each parcel is worked with precision, respecting nature and the rhythms of the vine. Manual harvesting, careful vinification and patient ageing make it possible to obtain champagnes of a rare authenticity and great aromatic expression.
