Founded in 1937, the Cave des Vignerons de Saint-Chinian stands as one of the historic pillars of the Languedoc vineyard. Set in the heart of the Saint-Chinian appellation, it has brought together generations of winegrowers driven by a common ambition: to reveal all the richness of their terroir through sincere, expressive wines with a strong identity. The vineyard today stretches over nearly 600 hectares, spread across several municipalities, between 120 and 300 metres of altitude. This geographical diversity gives the wines an identity marked by freshness, balance and complexity.
A terroir of rare diversity
Set between the Mediterranean and the foothills of the Massif Central, the Saint-Chinian terroir enjoys a Mediterranean climate ideal for the vine, tempered by altitude and continental influences. The soils, particularly varied (clay-limestone, schist and sandstone), offer a unique palette of expressions. This geological mosaic makes it possible to finely adapt the varieties to each parcel and to produce rich, structured and nuanced wines, faithful to their origin.

On the varied soils of Saint-Chinian, the cellar finely adapts the Languedoc varieties to each parcel. For the reds and rosés: Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre, Carignan and Cinsault, which give structured, spicy and sunny wines, from the pleasure cuvee Raoul Mapoul to the great reds for ageing Renaud De Valon and Le Complexe. For the whites: Grenache blanc, Roussanne, Marsanne, Vermentino and Viognier, on fresh, aromatic cuvees such as Le Secret des Capitelles white.
