4 wine concepts to discover as a matter of urgency
Four Innovative Wine Bottle Concepts That Will Catch Your Eye
1) A Bottle to Play Tic-Tac-Toe
We’ve all played Tic-Tac-Toe at some point. This timeless game of strategy can be played almost anywhere, as long as you have a piece of paper and a pen handy. Unless, of course, you find one of these bottles designed by the Argentine design agency Studio Luvaro. Specializing in wine and spirits, the agency sent out a red wine bottle to all its clients to celebrate its 17th anniversary. The unique feature? The label is a Tic-Tac-Toe grid with magnetic pieces, so you can enjoy a game directly on the bottle!

2) Homer & Marge Wines: The Simpsons Have Their Own Wine!
You may have heard of the recent Game of Thrones wine, but did you know that The Simpsons have their own wine too? Created by Belarusian fans Constantin Bolimond and Dmitry Patsukevich, the Simpson range includes two cuvées featuring the famous Homer and Marge. Bottled in 1987 (the year the TV series debuted) and launched in 2014, details about the wine inside the bottle remain a mystery, keeping with the creators’ intent to maintain intrigue.
3) Paper Boy Wine: 100% Eco-Friendly Bottles!
Following the launch of cardboard beer bottles by Danish brand Carlsberg, the wine industry is also stepping up with eco-friendly packaging through "Paper Boy Wine." These bottles are made from recycled and compressed paper with natural biodegradable ink. The entire packaging is 100% recyclable, including the plastic film inside the bottle and the aluminum cap. Lighter by 80% compared to traditional glass bottles, these durable bottles also reduce carbon footprint by 67% during transport.
4) The Vibrant Vine: 3D Label
We wrap up with another American innovation. Created by TricorBraun Wine Pak, the "The Vibrant Vine" wine bottle features a psychedelic packaging design, making it one of the most astonishing wine concepts. Designed for the OKanagan Villa Estate winery in British Columbia, Canada, this range offers bottles with 3D labels… So be sure to grab your glasses to fully appreciate the design!
