AOC Montragny 1er Cru

In the center-east of France, Burgundy is one of the oldest French wine regions, known for its very great vintages. It includes in particular the AOC Montagny 1er Cru.The appellation area of ​​this AOC extends in the Côte Chalonnaise over approximately 310 hectares of soils composed mainly of marl and limestone. Chardonnay vines, subject to several distinct climates, are planted on this appellation, which produces exclusively white wines (52 of which are classified as Premier Cru). The white wines of this appellation are mineral, fresh, fine, with great aromatic richness and an aging potential of 3 to 6 years.
