AOC Crémant du Jura
Over a distance of 80km, in the departments of Haute-Saône, Doubs and Jura, the Jura vineyards cover almost 2,000 hectares. The AOC Crémant du Jura appellation covers some 200 hectares of limestone, clay and marl soils throughout the Jura vineyards. Vines of Savagnin, Chardonnay, Poulsard, Trousseau and Pinot Noir are planted in this appellation, producing sparkling white (90%) and rosé wines. The whites are lively, fresh and round on the palate, with an aromatic bouquet of fruit and white flowers, with hints of brioche. Rosés are just as lively and delicious, with aromas of red fruits.
