Meet on the banks of the Rhine where the winemakers of the Alsace region treat us to their best vintages. In this region, we find in particular the Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée Alsace Grand Cru Klevener de Heiligenstein. The appellation subject to very strict specifications is located in the administrative district of Bas-Rhin, in the village of Heiligenstein. It is in this commune that the savagnin rosé (grape variety used to produce this wine) was found in 1970, when it almost disappeared. The wines of the AOC Alsace represent 70% of the regional production and are 90% white wines.
