This Morgon is produced exclusively in the climate of the same name, the Côte du Py (a former volcano), and whose reputation often exceeds the appellation itself (Morgon). It is enjoyed for its red fruit flavours when it is young, developing over time, becoming more "Bourgon" and giving it a touch of "Pinot".Vinified using traditional methods, as an entire harvest, it very easily supports fermentation of 10 to 20 days, depending on the vintage. It has a long-keeping potential of about ten years (or even longer) and is best enjoyed after 2 or 3 years.
