CLOS ROUGE
Languedoc-Roussillon WineThe history of Clos Rouge is, above all, a story of passion and friendship. Beginning in 2013 with 2.5 hectares, our adventure would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our families and friends, at all stages of our project. We considered the project at length and planned it slowly, from the search for “ideal” plots, to the creation of our first vintages and their presentation to wine lovers. Today, the estate has 5 hectares of very beautiful vines nestled between the scrubland and olive groves, at 250m altitude, on a Permian schist and "ruffe" (red Pelite soil). We use manure and plant extracts to help the vine fight disease naturally. Our daily objective is to respect the integrity of the grapes as much as possible, so the harvest is carried out manually and we use a vertical wine press that ensure gentle extraction of the very last juice.

Alerte Rouge features a brilliant ruby colour. Notes of garrigue and red fruits, a finish sharpened by Cayenne pepper. This 2015 vintage offers bags of freshness that will be tamed by short decanting. A racy Terrasse du Larzac with plenty of spice.

A typical Terrasse du Larzac, fine and elegant. Deep sustained ruby colour. Aromas of blackcurrant and liquorice. The sunshine of the Languedoc combines in the glass with the freshness of the Larzac.18 months spent maturing in barrels gives Babel a complex, structured character that will accompany your meals whatever the season.
