71150 Paris-l'Hôpital - Burgundy
We find traces of the Léger family on parchment manuscripts of the Commanderie de Beaune “Saint Jean de Jérusalem” Knights of the hospital, around the year one thousand. The “Vignes Blanches” estate is located at Paris l'Hôpital, a village in the heart of the Burgundy vineyard, between the Côte de Beaune and the Côte Chalonaise, in the hollow of a valley known as Cozanne. On the slopes of Bussy, Marigny, Martroy, Velez; protected by the wind, the estate produces red wines from a variety of Pinot Noirs, on these different Bourgogne Hautes Cotes de Beaune terroirs. Depending on characteristics typical to each vintage, we blend our côteaux vintages before bottling, after one year ageing in oak barrels. You are welcome to visit our estate!
