CHÂTEAU DES BACHELARDS IS THE ONLY FLEURIE, MOULIN-A-VENT AND SAINT-AMOUR ESTATE WITH DOUBLE CERTIFICATION AS BOTH ORGANIC AND BIODYNAMIC!The Château des Bachelards vineyard was created by Cluny monks around 1100 and, since that date, has only had three owners. Alexandra de Vazeilles has been the happy owner of the estate since 2014 when she acquired it and in so doing fulfilled her dream. She was trained by some of the best, at Château Latour in Pauillac, at Domaine de Montille in Volnay and at Domaine Roulot in Meursault. Wines of the first vintage, in 2014, were recognised by the Decanter World Wide Awards, and also given 18/20 by Olivier Poussier, known as “the Best Sommelier in the World”. This places Château des Bachelards among the 200 top estates in France.Château des Bachelards wines are known for combining Burgundy and Rhone Valley They have their own identity and are not like anything else. No chemicals are used, either on the vines or in the winery.All these efforts enabled Château des Bachelards to be served in the best French restaurants: Guy Savoy, Maison Troisgros, Alain Ducasse, Georges Blanc, among others.
