The "Moulin-à-Vent", the Lord of Beaujolais, is oldest and most well-known of the 10 Beaujolais Crus. Its vines are located on a granitic hill with seams of manganese, which give the superb ageing ability like a Great Burgundy. It's a unique and recognised terroir. At the top of this small hill is a 15th century windmill, classed as an historic monument. Taste this solid and structured wine with the image of its centuries-old windmill. -Moulin-à-Vent 2010 "Cuvée Vieilles Vignes": A beautiful vintage, continuing on from 2009, well balanced with a stunning purple colour and aromas of rich red fruits. A wine with structure and roundness, good to drink now or in 8 to 10 years. It is excellent with cheeses, charcuterie and grilled meats.
