Burgundy WineA TRADITIONAL FAMILY BUSINESS
In 1529, Jean Girard was cultivating vines in Savigny les Beaune. Today, Jean-Jacques Girard and his children carry on the tradition, running a family estate covering 18 hectares in the communes of Savigny les Beaune, Pernand-Vergelesses, Aloxe Corton, Volnay, Pommard and Beaune.
ENVIRONMENTAL APPROACH
The Domaine is certified "Haute Valeur Environnementale" (HVE). HVE certification is designed to promote sustainable development and respect for the environment in agriculture and viticulture. The aim is to promote good practices and encourage the protection of nature. The estate combines know-how and new technologies for an annual production of around 100,000 bottles.
Our wines
aligoté
Vinified and aged in vats, Bourgogne Aligoté is a white wine made from the Aligoté grape variety. Aromas of white flowers and fruit.

Our 1er Crus are all aged in oak barrels for around 15 months. A superb, brilliant, limpid deep red color.A fine, powerful nose, very seductive, with notes of small black fruits, supported by a discreet woodiness.A delicate, well-balanced palate, with very fine, fat tannins and flavors of fresh roses.

Le Pernand 1er Cru a un beau rubis bourguignon. C'est un vin qui demande à s'affiner avant d'offrir tout son charme. Une robe rubis intense. Un nez explosif de fruits rouges (cerise). Une bouche complexe, structurée et riche, offre des tanins ronds et fruités.

Vin vinifié et élevé en fût de chêne pendant environ 15 mois. Une robe brillante et limpide d’un rubis intense. Un nez ouvert sur des arômes de fruits rouges. Une bouche soyeuse, élégante et bien charpentée. Vin très fin. L’équilibre fruit-tanin donne à ce vin un beau potentiel d’évolution.

Wine vinified and aged in oak barrels for around 15 months. Bright, limpid ruby color. An open nose of red fruit aromas. Silky, elegant and well-structured on the palate. A very fine wine. The balance of fruit and tannins gives this wine great potential for evolution.

Bright, golden color. Well-defined color, aromas of hawthorn, acacia and honeysuckle mingle with hazelnut. Flint recalls the deep minerality of a sometimes toasty, buttery wine. On the palate, fatness and mellowness blend persistently.

Vinified and aged in oak barrels for around 15 months. Bright, limpid ruby, this wine combines richness and finesse. Fleshy, powerful and supple, it expresses a beautiful aromatic complexity in a full, powerful mouth with silky, coated tannins.
