The Château de Barbe Blanche is a wonderful property covering a total surface area of 28 hectares located in the heart of the Lussac-Saint-Emilion appellation. The estate belonged to the Favereau family, lawyers at the Bordeaux Parliament in the 18th century, then to the Jay-Bodet family around 1800, allowing it to keep on developing on the best terroirs. The vineyards André Lurton which combine ancestral techniques and new technologies which guarantees the best quality possible take over this estate in 2000. Their work is meticulous and precise and it creates cuvées of exception in AOC Lussac-Saint-Emilion.
