Tasting notes Colour: Very deep purple. Nose: Complex with aromas of violet and cocoa, evolving towards roasted coffee beans and blackberries. Mouth: Aromas of crème de cassis, caramel, smoked ham, coconut. A generous wine with notes of crème brûlée, nougat with pistachio, cooked spices at the finish, with crisp tannins. Wine and food pairings: Serve at17° C, with grilled red meats (beef rib, prime rib steak), ragouts, game, pasta and soft-rinded cheeses. This wine will be a revelation with ham.
