AOC Fleurie

Beaujolais

The "Fleurie" is the most feminine of the Beaujolais Crus. It comes from an old family vine, marvellously located on a hillside in the rising sun, on the Colline de Fleurie. It results in a terroir wine that is more rounded and velvety with floral and fruity aromas. Our 2010 Fleurie "Cuvéé Vieilles Vignes" is a fruity wine with good structure, alongside roundness, with aromas of macerated fruit and blackcurrant, standing out thanks to its distinction and its fine tannins. It's a true Fleurie, very feminine, having the signs of a quality terroir with hand-picked vintages and rigorous sorting.

DOMAINE SAMBIN

71570 ROMANECHE THORINS - Beaujolais

The Sambin family is based in Romanèche-Thorins, a very old small estate of 8 ha, which has been in the same family for 12 generations. A hamlet of Romanèche-Thorins: "La Sambinerie" attests to the important presence of this family in this vine-growing area. The name Sambin has, in his roots, links to vines, since it is said that the name comes from the Latin "Semper bibere", which means, "Drink always!". ». The vines, mostly over 50 years old, result in a magnificent wine with a deep ruby colour, with subtle scents of very pure violet and rose. Our wines marry well with all good traditional dishes. We are a small 8-hectare family vine-growing estate, 15km south of Macon (France) and we produce a real "terroir" wine, in the Crus "Moulin-à-Vent" and "Fleurie" with:- Gamay vines with plant cover, grown using sustainable and integrated vine growing methods.- Manual harvest followed by selective sorting.- Traditional artisanal vinifications by vat, of 2 weeks on average and a 10-month ageing in the cellar.- Granite soil with the presence of manganese, which allows us to enhance the specific characteristics of the terroir, and helps ageing.
