The family adventure begins in 1999 with the purchase of 10 hectares of old vines and a location, rue de l’Amour, in Autignac. It has been 20 years that we have been restructuring our vineyard to adapt it to our goals, it now covers a total suface area of more than 30 hectares. Our son Boris Feigel, joined us in 2006 and began the organic conversion in 2008 ; he takes care of the soils in particular and vinifies without sulfite in our new cellar inaugurated in 2010. Eric de Turckheim has joined this adventure, it allowed the convergence of the estate and our village’s castle. Château Autignac also offers since 2016 unique bed and breakfasts. The Faugères appellation is a small appellation on a schists terroir. The soils are very filtering and roughly fertile and the vine deeply digs its roots there to find the constitutive elements of the great wines.
