Statesman, sociologist and company director, Emile Cheysson founded the estate in 1870. During these former times, the estate was split between vine-growing and polyculture. Today, the estate is exclusively vine-growing. The estate produces Chiroubles on 26 hectares of vines on slopes. The Chiroubles vineyard is made up of many steep granite slopes. From this soil, particularly suited to vines, result elegant, fragrant and very fruity wines. Domaine Cheysson's production stands out for its finesse, elegance and the typicality of its vintages.
