A former Colbert hunting lodge, the Château des Bertrands is a 200-hectare estate located in the heart of the Natura 2000 protected area, the natural reserve of the Hermann tortoise, at the foot of the Maures mountain chain. The vineyard, completely designed during 1964, extends today over 84 ha of vines, including 20 ha planted in 2012 whose vine population was carefully chosen during planting. Château des Bertrands is a little Provençal jewel, close to the coast, which the owners since 2010, Vignobles de Berne, are redesigning into a major venue for Var viticulture.
