This Brouilly 2012 is typical of the Brouilly appellation and is best served as a spring or summer wine. Serve relatively cool (12-14°C) with a starter, salad, terrine, charcuterie, small snack or aperitif, it will go very well with fish starters, white meats or fish in a butter-based sauce. Brouilly's strong point being its ability to accompany an entire meal. In this cuvée you'll find aromatic qualities, the silkiness and freshness of the Gamay which means it can be enjoyed on any occasion. Powerful on the nose with fresh fruits, fresh cherries and strawberries in syrup. Acidic and particularly fresh and delicate in the attack, with plenty of suppleness, roundness and superb freshness. The relatively light and tonic structure make it a pleasant and acidic wine, leaving the palate full of crips fruit.
