AOC Bourgogne Côtes du Couchois

Burgundy

A nose that is bursting with freshness and red fruits, a beautiful ruby-red colour and a perfectly structured palate. A wine that can be easily paired with all sorts of dish, thanks to its supple and well-blended tannins, but that will not get lost when paired with a fillet of duck breast on account of its fruity character, while its tannic quality will go well with a quail or squab. If you are patient, allow it to age for two to three years in order to discover black fruits, blackberry and blackcurrant, and really see what this cuvée can do when paired with a traditional bourguignon dish.

CHATEAU DE COUCHES

71490 Couches - Burgundy

Although Château de Couches has within its grounds 83 hectares of vines including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Aligoté, the wine, sold under the brand Blason de Vair comes from all their local production. This terroir, spread over six communes, provides a technical diversity and a wide aromatic palette allowing, after strict selection, the creation of very different vintages, to the great pleasure of all those who love great Burgundy wines. Vinification is carried out by Côtes du Couchois wine-growers, in collaboration with Blason de Vair. Selection and blending is therefore carried out on the basis of an analysis of each of the batches presented, to create a vintage of around a thousand bottles.
