Made from 100% de Pinot Noir, Le Bourgogne Côte Chalonnaise 2016 from the Domaine Masse is made from the oldest wine in the estate, which is why it is referred to as Vieilles Vignes (Old vines). This results in delicious wines, with plenty of substance and very supple tannins. This Bourgogne Côte Chalonnaise has a very intense colour compared to other wines made from Pinot Noir. It has a nose of redcurrant, red berries and raspberries. As for its palate, the tannines are very supple and leave a velvety impression on the palate. The finish, which combines red and black fruits, may be short, but it proves itself very intense. This is a wine that will surprise you with its balance and suppleness.
