Tasting : On the nose, fresh lemony aromas of Riesling set the tone. A pure Riesling. On the palate the wine is fresh, dry and lively. It allows aromas of citrus, lime and mirabelle to come through, with wonderful length. A great wine to accompany a meal, ideal with seafood, cooked and marinated fish, sushi, cooked in a short broth, grilled or smoked. Tasting recommendation : Recognised as one of the best white grape varieties in the world, Riesling of Alsace is a gastronomic wine par excellence. In addition to natural pairings with traditional Alsace dishes (sauerkraut, matelote fish stew, a selection of smoked pork) it has a natural affinity with fish, scallops and shellfish. It gracefully highlights the salty, almost iodine flavours of the sea. It is wonderful with poultry, white meats or even goat's cheeses. And what about storage? A wine for laying down, that can be enjoyed young if you wish to enjoy its fresh and thirst-quenching side, or later if you want to enjoy its balance between finesse and strong distinctive character.
