Mas Coris is an equal distribution of space: 4 hectares of scrubland and woods and almost 4 hectares of vines. It is also a preserved environment (Natura 2000 classification) with wonderful diversity, in the Pic de Vissou valley, in Cabrières, Languedoc. In this exceptional setting, eight varieties are expressed: Syrah, Grenache and Cinsault for the reds and rosés; Vermentino, Viognier, Grenache Blanc, Roussanne and Clairette for the whites. This vineyard is cultivated using organic production, with the desire to encourage, in the vineyard and the winery, authenticity and quality. Particularities of the terroir These plots are located at 200 metres altitude, the guarantee of a good thermal range between day and night, ensuring a better preservation of the aromatic qualities of the grapes, especially during the ripening process. The soil, made up mostly of sandstone schist (or carbonate schist), is very representation of the AOP Cabrières appellation.
