Domaine des Gaudets
Beaujolais WineFour generations have succeeded one after the other on this estate. Christophe's great-great-grandfather was a cooper. Attentive to the ecosystem, Christophe Sornay practises cover planting in his vineyard and provides enrichment for the soil humus with vine shoot homogenate. The estate farms 12 hectares of vines, made up of Morgon, Régnié and Beaujolais white, red and rosé. The wine-making method is clearly reminiscent of the Morgon vintage motto: "The fruit of a Beaujolais, the charm of a Burgundy".
Our wines

This cuvée features a lovely purplish blue colour and is full-bodied and fruity. The tannins are fine and round. A wine that's to be drunk this year, but that will keep for 1 to 2 years without a problem!

This wine with notes of red fruits and well-blended tannins, has a deep red colour. It can be drunk this year but will happily keep for 4 to 5 years!

A lovely purple colour with aromas of cherry and blackcurrant. Red and black fruits such as blackberry and Burlat cherries also feature on the palate. A touch of spice harmonises with this Morgon that perfectly translates the Côte de Py vineyard.
