Loire Wine

The domaine Chollet, located in Pouilly-sur-Loire, covers a total surface area of 12,5Ha under the appellation Pouilly Fumé and Pouilly-sur-Loire. The first wine was created in 1960. Elaborated by the Chollet family, they make it a priority to make great wines of Pouilly in the respect of its terroir. Winemakers from father to son, it is today Gilles, assisted by his wife Valérie and their son Séverin who operate the vineyard. Following his studies in Beaune, Séverin brought a touch of modernity to the vineyard. Keeping the same philosophy; a good know-how, work and respect for its environment, the members of this family add their own knowledge and qualities to make the estate evolve. The Chollet winery has been certified HEV level 3 (High Environmental Value) since 2020 and is being converted to organic agriculture. Every year, the estate is rewarded with numerous medals, a guarantee of their quality and reputation of ‘creating the best sauvignon in the world’. The Pouilly Fumé range is made of the Sauvignon grape variety, to give an aromatic and mineral white wine with flavors of citrus and exotic fruits. Pouilly wines are suitable for shellfish, fish, white meat, roasted chicken and cheese. It will be, without a doubt, a real success!
