Domaine Cauhapé was created by Henri Ramonteu, independent winemaker since 1980. Today, the estate is considered a reference of the Jurançon appellation. Located in Monein near Pau, the estate produces great dry and sweet wines with rare grape varieties from the South-West part of France: Petit Manseng, Gros Manseng, Camaralet, Courbu and Lauzet. The refinement and the aromatic expression are the two characteristics features of the Cauhapé wines. The vines are planted on hillsides facing the Pyrenees and are lead following a reasoned agriculture process.
