CHATEAU LA GRAVE
Languedoc-Roussillon WineHeritage of the Priory of Milhegrand, fiefdom of the Abbey of Lagrasse in the 12th century, the estate then became a smallholding, maintained by a long line of vine-growers. Jean-Pierre and Josiane Orosquette, themselves from families dedicated to vines, have perpetuated this long line. Their son, Jean-François Orosquette, now the wine-maker, heads the team. Good wine always needs hard work and careful attention is given constantly to the vines. Thierry Bergé, their son-in-law manages the growing of the vines. And Jean-Pierre and Josiane Orosquette are still working on the estate, where, to the rhythm of life, they still oversee the functioning of the vineyard and pass on their expertise to the youngest team members.
