Dominique Corbière has decided to partner with his father, Jean Corbière, in 1989, in order to create a GAEC (Agricultural Grouping of Common Exploitation). Therefore, the domain has became a family business in SCEA (Non-trading Company of Agricultural Exploitation), that we have been running with my wife since 2016. Located in the south of Saint Émilion, in the locality of Dartus, the terroir has a sandy, gravelly and even silty texture. The vineyard, 40 to 100 years old, provides high quality wines, structured, and of a great aromatic finesse. Varieties are spread out as follows: Merlot 4,5 hectares, Cabernet franc 1,6 hectares and Cabernet sauvignon 0,4 hectares. The vineyard is in the process of HVE (High Environmental Value) certification, doesn’t use any weedkiller and gives attention to carrying on the traditions (manual harvesting, green harvesting, leaf stripping, land cultivation).
