Very soon after acquiring the property in March 2007, Jean Joly decided to create the SCEA (civil agricultural company) "Château de Durette" with the idea of producing his own wine... A completely new vat room, better located with regard to the road, was built and completely equipped with modern equipment (stainless steel vats). Today we work a 30 ha area,
spread over the different appellations.
Château de Durette offers seven Beaujolais + Beaujolais Blanc, Beaujolais Villages Rosé, Méthode Traditionnelle Crus.
Each of these wines has its characteristics, even though they are all from the same Beaujolais family: fragrant, flavoursome, structured, full-bodied.
