Beaujolais Wine

The heritage-listed Château de Pravins has been a wine-growing estate since 1251 and is located in the heart of the Beaujolais region. A family property, Isabelle Brossard took it over in 2005. Obtaining organic certification in 2013, the estate was planted with Gamay for the red wines and Chardonnay for white and sparkling wines. The Château is part of a 9-hectare environmental ensemble, made up of a park, a lake, meadows and vines (5 ha). It can be visited throughout the year by appointment. Accommodation for 4 people has just opened (for reservations, contact Gîtes de France).
