Château Bellegrave

Château Bellegrave

Bordeaux Wine

The Château Bellegrave is located in the South of Pauillac, amid the prestigious Château Latour, Pichon-Longueville and Lynch-Bages. Old property of Armand Roux, the estate was owned in 1901, by his associate and unique successor, Mister Van-Der-Voort, wine merchant in San-Francisco. In 1954, to sell his Cabernet-Sauvignon plants there, Gabriel MEFFRE, an infamous nurseryman, discovers the Médoc and buys several properties in the regions of Sant-Estèphe, Pauillac and Saint-Julien. Jean-Paul Meffre- already owner in Saint-Julien Beychevelle of Château Glana and Château Lalande-buys this one in 1997. Today, the grandsons Ludovic and Julien insure the management of the property. « Pauillac is the Cabernet-Sauvignon’s sacred land where strength and elegance can express themselves. Our passion lead us to find the smart balance between modern methods and the respect for the traditions so that Bellegrave can express the best of its potential.
