It is in the south of the Cote des Blancs near the Saint Gond marshlands in the valley of the Petit Morin, that the family holding of the Chéré family spreads. Winegrowers from father to son, since the end of the XIXth century, the members of the family have transmitted their passion for the vine while being focused on the consistant quality, the respect for the tradition and the environmental challenges. 6 hectares of vines compose this estate, which has been devoted to the vinification since the 80s by Etienne Chéré. It is now his two sons who have taken the estate over to cultivate in the best way possible the 3 grape varieties of the Champagne region in order to extract the quintessence of flavors which give the brand its prestigious reputation. The jewel of the house, the ‘Cuvée Marie’ owes its name to Damien’s and David’s sister. Independent winemakers and mindful of this label, we elaborate our Champagnes thanks to the terroir’s grapes. Its geographical location is suitable for the maturity of the vine, which will give Cuvees of elegance. Frequently rewarded by the Hachette guide, we have made our name in the wine world and you can find our wines at the tables of the most prestigious Houses for instance.
