Located in Verzenay, a renowned vineyard, part of the three very first Villages Grands Crus of the first classification of Champagne’s wines in 1873, and Verzy, the Champagne Barbier-Roze has been excelling in its production for five generations now. The family estate is now run by Benoît, who do anything possible to carry on the traditions of his family while applying new environmental measures all along his winemaking processes. Benoît makes a point in producing champagnes in a raisonnable agriculture and viticulture, based on a Three Zeros’ rule: Zero insecticide, Zero herbicide, Zero added sulphites in the disgorgement process. The champagnes are owner-grower’s champagnes, HVE (High Environmental Value) and VDC (Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne) certified. Come and discover unmatched champagnes from the Grande Montagne de Reims.
