Cave des Vignerons de Saint-Chinian
Languedoc-Roussillon WineCreated in 1937, the Cave des Vignerons de Saint-Chinianis located in the heart of Languedoc in the south of France. The vineyard covers a total surface area of 600Ha between 120 and 300 meters above sea level, spread over the different regions of Saint-Chinian. Its environment allows exceptional grape varieties to grow and it benefits from a Mediterranean climate mixed with clay-limestone, shale and sandstone soils. For all these years, the Cave de Saint-Chinian has kept its authenticity while expanding, using more modern winemaking techniques. For the winemakers of the winery, quality is the most important thing. For 75 years, they have used their know-how and experiences to make their winery one of the most famous in the region. Present in more than 20 countries around the world, with a reputation that keeps growing, the bottles received several prizes and medals in the biggest international competitions. Since 2013, the winery has been developing ‘Art en Cave’, a unique concept in France where famous artists create giant frescoes in the winery.
