Vignobles Delpit: Five Generations of Craftsmanship in the Heart of Libournais

A Family Estate Committed to Excellence. Just 12 kilometers from Saint-Émilion, Vignobles Delpit stretches across the communes of Puisseguin and Saint-Philippe-d’Aiguilhe, where clay-limestone soils have shaped elegant, authentic wines for generations.

Here, five generations have followed one another, each bringing experience and vision to preserve a winemaking identity built on respect for the land and precision in every gesture.

Traditional, Precise, and Respectful Viticulture

The vines are cultivated as they were in the past, with constant attention to balance and grape quality.

  • Carefully managed winter pruning to limit yields and concentrate fruit richness.
  • Debudding and summer canopy work to naturally aerate clusters and protect the grapes.
  • Traditional Bordeaux vinification with temperature control to preserve aromatic purity.
  • Long ageing in vats, bringing finesse, roundness, and stability.

The wines are not fined, avoiding the addition of allergens. A slight natural deposit may appear in the bottle — a sign of respectful, unaltered winemaking.

HVE: A Strong Environmental Commitment

Since July, the estate has been certified HVE — High Environmental Value — a recognized label rewarding a sustainable approach based on:

  • preservation of biodiversity,
  • reduction of chemical inputs,
  • responsible soil management,
  • protection of water resources.

This certification confirms the commitment of Vignobles Delpit: producing sincere, clean wines that remain faithful to their terroir.
